Antalya Airport Transfer — AYT
Antalya Airport (AYT) is Turkey's second busiest airport and one of Europe's great charter hubs, moving tens of millions of holiday passengers a year through two passenger terminals, on carriers from Turkish Airlines to Ryanair and the big charter operators. Very few of those passengers are staying in Antalya city: the real destination is a resort somewhere along the coast, from Lara Beach next door to Alanya 125 km away. A private transfer from LocalsRide covers the full distance at one fixed price, with your driver already in arrivals when you land.
Transfers start from €15, fixed price, confirmed at booking. No meter, no hidden fees, no surge pricing.
Transfer time and distance
- Lara Beach resorts: 12 km, approximately 15 to 20 minutes
- Antalya city centre: 13 km, approximately 15 to 25 minutes
- Belek: 35 km, approximately 30 to 40 minutes
- Kemer: 40 km, approximately 35 to 50 minutes
- Side and Manavgat: 65 km, approximately 55 to 70 minutes
- Alanya: 125 km, approximately 95 to 115 minutes
The coast splits at the airport: Lara and Belek lie east, Kemer west, and Side and Alanya continue east far beyond the city. Which direction you are heading makes the difference between a 15-minute hop and a two-hour drive, and the fixed price is quoted for your resort, not for a zone on a map.
There is no train, and no direct bus to most resorts
AYT has no rail link, and buses toward the resort towns involve changes and end at a station rather than at your hotel. For most of the coast a private transfer is not a luxury alternative, it is the only practical direct option. That is doubly true arriving with children, beach luggage and a charter schedule behind you.
Why book a private transfer from AYT?
- Fixed price regardless of distance. Belek, Kemer, Side or Alanya, the price is confirmed at booking, not discovered at journey's end
- Flight monitoring and 60 minutes of free waiting, which matters on charter rotations that slip late into the night
- Meet and greet inside arrivals, with a vehicle sized for your group and luggage already waiting
- Driver details in advance: name, photo, vehicle and WhatsApp number
- 24/7 service. Charter schedules mean very late night and very early morning arrivals, and your driver is there for all of them
Arriving on a charter flight
Charter arrivals cluster: several aircraft land close together, and a thousand people reach the kerb at once. A pre-booked driver turns that scrum into a non-event, because your name is on a sign inside the hall and your vehicle is assigned before anyone lands. The same goes for the return leg at the end of the holiday, which can be booked at the same time at the same fixed price.
What vehicle should you book?
- Sedan, up to 4 passengers, for couples
- Minivan, up to 8 passengers, the standard family choice for resort luggage
- Minibus, up to 15 passengers, for groups heading to the same resort
Prices are per vehicle, so a family or group pays one fare for the whole run down the coast. Child seats can be requested at booking, which matters on a route where most passengers are travelling as families, and luggage space is sized to the vehicle, not sold separately.
Combining Antalya with Istanbul
Many itineraries pair the coast with a few days in Istanbul at one end of the trip. The same fixed-price service runs from Istanbul Airport, on both sides of the city, and booking the two transfers together puts the whole Turkish leg of the journey on confirmed prices.
