What does a Paris airport transfer cost?
A private transfer from Orly to central Paris starts from approximately €40 for a sedan. From Charles de Gaulle, where the distance is roughly double, prices start from approximately €55. The figure you are quoted covers tolls and fees, and it is confirmed when you book rather than calculated on arrival, so the number you see is the number you pay.
The exact price depends on your destination address, because a run into the Marais and a run out to Marne-la-Vallée are not the same journey. Larger vehicles cost more than a sedan, and a minivan or minibus is quoted the same way: in advance, in full.

Why not take the RER or a taxi?
The RER B from Charles de Gaulle is the cheapest way into Paris, and it is a sensible choice if you are travelling light. With two suitcases and a pushchair it becomes a different proposition: stairs, changes, and a service that stops overnight. Orly is easier to reach on public transport than it used to be, but the last stretch to your door is still yours to solve.
Parisian taxis are metered, which makes the fare a question rather than an answer until you arrive, and availability at peak arrival times is not something you can count on. A private transfer trades the rank queue for a known price and a driver who is already standing there.
Travelling on from Paris
