Pokhara Airport Transfer (PHH)

Pokhara Airport Transfer (PHH)

Pokhara International Airport (IATA: PHH) is 7 kilometres by road from Lakeside (Phewa Tal) and has handled all of Pokhara's scheduled flights since January 2023: the domestic routes from Kathmandu (25–30 min) on Yeti Airlines, Buddha Air and Shree Airlines, and, since September 2026, a daily flydubai flight from Dubai. The old Pokhara Airport (IATA: PKR), closer to Lakeside, is still used for flights to Jomsom, helicopters and ultralights, so check the airport code on your ticket. Metered taxis and private hire vehicles are available at both airports; InDrive also operates in Pokhara. A LocalsRide driver meets you when you land for transfers to Lakeside guesthouses, trekking departure points, and the Pokhara valley viewpoints.

Frequently asked questions

Domestic flights are subject to weather cancellations, especially in monsoon (June–September) and winter fog (December–January). Buddha Air and Yeti Airlines are most reliable. If cancelled, the fallback is the Prithvi Highway (6–7 hours). Your LocalsRide driver comes for the pickup time you booked, and the 60 minutes of free waiting start then, so a long delay can use them up. If your flight is delayed or cancelled, message your driver in the LocalsRide chat.
