Arequipa Airport Transfer (AQP)

Arequipa Rodríguez Ballón International Airport (IATA: AQP) is Peru's second major international gateway, 8 kilometres northwest of the White City's historic centre. It serves both international arrivals and the growing domestic transfer market from Lima. Arequipa sits at 2,335 metres — lower than Cusco but still above sea level enough to cause mild altitude effects for arrivals from the coast. Official taxis are available from the counter inside arrivals; unofficial operators are active outside the exits.
