Colombo Airport Transfer (CMB)

Colombo Bandaranaike International Airport (IATA: CMB) is Sri Lanka's sole international airport, 30 kilometres north of the capital. It handles flights from the Middle East, South Asia, Southeast Asia, and a growing number of European routes. The arrivals area has active tuk-tuk and informal taxi drivers outside the exits. Transfer Time from CMB

Negombo (nearby beach town): 15–20 minutes north. Colombo Fort and Pettah: 30–50 minutes via E03 expressway. Colombo 3 (Kollupitiya, Galle Face Green): 35–55 minutes. Kandy (Temple of the Tooth): 115 kilometres (2–2.5 hours via A1). Galle (southern fort town): 120 kilometres via E01 (2–2.5 hours). Sigiriya Rock: 170 kilometres north (2.5–3 hours). Mirissa: 155 kilometres south (2.5–3 hours).

CMB Arrivals

Colombo Airport has a single terminal. After baggage and customs, exit into the arrivals concourse. If you ask for a name sign, each offer shows whether the driver will meet you with one in the designated meeting area; if not, you agree a pick-up point with the driver. The tuk-tuk rank and informal drivers are outside the terminal exit: if your offer includes a name sign, your driver meets you inside before you reach them.
