Is BHK or Kagan railway station the better arrival point for Bukhara?

For international travellers flying direct, BHK is 7 km east of the old town versus Kagan at 15 km east — BHK is shorter. For Afrosiyob train arrivals, Kagan is the unavoidable rail terminus and a road transfer is required. Both use the same road; airport arrivals are a shorter run.

Can I book a transfer from Bukhara airport directly to Khiva?

Yes but long — BHK to Khiva is 450 km, 6–7 hours via Kyzylkum desert road. Alternative: 1-hour flight BHK-Urgench (UGC) with Khiva 35 km away, or the overnight Sharq/Afrosiyob train. For committed Silk Road private-car circuits the direct transfer is available; for most independent itineraries the Urgench flight is practical.
